Meet our Staff
Dr. Mike Kohn
- Dr. Kohn's childhood love of animals led him to become a veterinarian. He received his
degree from Kansas State University in
1980 and opened his practice in Madison one year later. Since opening
the clinic in the historic Willy Street neighborhood, Dr. Kohn has
studied acupuncture, homeopathy and herbs. As a solo practitioner he
enjoys close relationships with his clients and their animal
companions. His goal in practicing medicine is to give every client
individually specialized, quality care.
Veterinary Assistants:
Jason Weitzel
- Jason is a Madison native, with a strong bond to all small animals. He spoils his feline friend Avery daily and has recently been blessed with a canine companion, Zeus. Jason's caring and outgoing personality eases our patients and their companions as he assists with general appointment duties.
Office Assistants
Angela Foulks
- Angela has a degree in English from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point and has worked with The Petinary for the past two years. She is an avid lover and advocate for all animals, and spends a lot of her free time with her own two dogs, Cora "JAJA" and Piggy.
